    Known for its stunning Fall foliage, New England delights all senses. Your tour starts and ends in New York and takes in all six of the New England states. New England, is rich with history and outdoor adventure. Six unique states all easily travelled with a wide variety of scenery and attractions: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
    During this 22-day tour you will spend 3 nights in the ‘city that never sleeps’, New York where you will have time to visit world-famous attractions including the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. Experience a breathtaking landscape as you travel around visiting must-see places such as Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, the White and Green Mountains and not forgetting Bar Harbor, where you will be treated to a traditional lobster dinner.

    Most of the drives on this tour are easy with well-maintained tarmac roads. A number of the activities on this tour require some walking and/or physical exertion.

    DAY 1

    Fly from London to New York where you will meet your Tour Escorts and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and enjoy your first experience of the ‘city that never sleeps’. Overnight in a New York hotel.

    DAYS 2-3

    Spend 2 free days exploring this amazing city. You have a City Pass which gives access to 6 must see attractions including The Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. Enjoy a welcome meal with your fellow campers. 2 nights in a New York hotel.

    DAY 4

    Pick up your motorhome and familiarise with your vehicle before travelling across the southern coastline of Connecticut to Mystic (177 miles), a pretty and historic fishing village. Overnight Mystic campsite.

    DAY 5

    Day at leisure. Visit the Mystic Seaport museum that tells the tale of shipbuilding in the 18th and 19th Century. Overnight Mystic campsite.

    DAY 6

    Drive to Portsmouth in Rhode Island (47 miles). Visit nearby Newport, famous as the summer resort of America's first millionaires, rich with art and antique galleries, fashionable boutiques, and plays host to colourful sailing regattas throughout the year. Overnight Portsmouth campsite.

    DAY 7

    Day at leisure. Take a self-guided tour of the must see Newport mansions which portray the opulence of a bygone era, or take the historic cliff walk, named as one of Americas most beautiful walks. Overnight Portsmouth campsite.

    DAY 8

    Drive to Middleborough (40) miles. Spend the next couple of days relaxing at Cape Cod, offering beautiful beaches, historic villages, fine dining, and a variety of activities to suit everybody. Overnight Middleborough campsite.

    DAY 9

    Today you will be taken on a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard. Only accessible by boat or air, this small island off Cape Cod remains one of the most popular and picturesque destinations in New England. Overnight Middleborough campsite.

    DAYS 10 - 11

    Drive to Old Orchard Beach (147 miles) home to amongst other things a 7 mile stretch of sandy beach. Stop off at Salem en route, infamous for its witch trials. 2 nights Old Orchard Beach campsite.

    DAY 12

    Spectacular scenery awaits as you head for Bar Harbor (180 miles), known as the home of Acadia National Park with its lakes, forest, coastline and more than 300 species of birds. Overnight Bar Harbor campsite.

    DAY 13 - 14

    2 days to explore the area. Included is a guided tour of Acadia National Park and its spectacular scenery, including Paradise Hill and the summit of Cadillac Mountain. Enjoy an organised lobster dinner at a local restaurant. 2 nights Bar Harbor campsite.

    DAYS 15 - 16

    Drive to the White Mountains (218 miles). Take the Cog Railway train ride to the summit of Mount Washington, or the Aerial Tram ride to the top of Cannon Mountain for spectacular panoramic views. On a clear day you can see the mountains of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Canada, and New York. 2 nights White Mountains campsite.

    DAY 17

    Drive to the Green Mountains (100 miles). Vermont’s scenery is stunning, mixing white clapboard villages and the snowcapped Green Mountains. Enjoy Stowe’s hiking trails or sample some of the locally produced cheese, ice cream or cider. Overnight Green Mountains campsite.

    DAYS 18 - 19

    Drive to the Berkshires (210 miles). The Berkshires has long been a haven for artists, musicians, and writers who’ve fled city life to set up sanctuary in the countryside. Stop at the village of Woodstock a typical New England village with traditional shops and covered bridges, or visit Tanglewood, home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. 2 nights Berkshires campsite.

    DAY 20

    Continue south and back into New York State where you'll stay at Lazy River (135 miles). Enjoy a farewell meal in the company of your fellow travellers. Overnight Lazy River campsite.

    DAY 21

    Return your motorhomes to the depot (100 miles) and transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to the UK.

    DAY 22

    Arrive UK. This ends the tour arrangements.
