    Your holiday will get off to a great start in Vancouver where you’ll have time to explore the city before picking up your motorhome and heading to Vancouver Island where you’ll take part in a whale watching trip.

    You’ll visit Nanaimo, the second largest town on Vancouver Island as you travel to Horseshoe Bay, and they’ll be plenty of time to enjoy the many splendid lakes that can be found along the way.

    Wildlife is a big part of this holiday and we will take you to many famous National Parks including Wells Gray and Mt Robson Provincial Parks where you’ll have the chance to spot moose, grizzly and black bears, deer, elk, caribou and lots more during your great Canadian adventure.

    DAY 1
    Depart London Heathrow, flying to Vancouver. Meet your Tour Escorts and transfer to a Vancouver city centre hotel. Overnight Vancouver hotel.
    DAY 2
    Breakfast followed by a guided coach tour of Vancouver. Afternoon spent at leisure to explore Vancouver. Enjoy a welcome meal in the evening with your fellow campers in a restaurant with panoramic views. Overnight Vancouver hotel.
    DAYS 3 – 5
    Breakfast, then transfer to the motorhome depot to pick up vehicles. Cross to Vancouver Island by ferry to the first campsite in Saanichton (30 miles driving).
    There'll be a group get together for a campsite barbecue.
    Your Saanichton stay includes a tour of Victoria and whale watching trip. There's also a further full day at leisure to explore Victoria, complete with double decker buses and traditional flower filled parks, the Royal British Columbia Museum and Parliament Building, or the surrounding area including the lovely Butchart Gardens.

    DAYS 6-7
    Travel from Saanichton to Nanaimo (80 miles), the second largest town on Vancouver Island, to take the ferry to Horseshoe Bay. Drive through the Garibaldi Provincial Park to Whistler (69 miles), the famous ski resort. Here you will have a free day to explore the town - why not take a gondola trip up Whistler Blackcomb mountain to admire the breathtaking views? 2 nights Whistler campsite 
    DAY 8
    Leave behind the Garibaldi Provincial Park, to enjoy some splendid lakeside roads. Stop off at Joffre and Duffey Lakes, before heading east towards Kamloops (130 miles). Overnight Cache Creek campsite.
    DAYS 9 - 10
    Drive along the Yellowhead Highway into the Wells Gray Provincial Park (163 miles), one of BC’s largest at 540,000 hectares. There is plenty of time to explore the park, a vast wilderness of alpine meadows, mountain peaks, glaciers, lakes, rivers, extinct volcanoes and waterfalls. Be sure also to visit Helmcken Falls, at 142m high one of the most amazing natural features in the Wells Gray Provincial Park. 2 nights Wells Gray Provincial Park campsite.
    DAY 11
    Travel to Mt Robson Provincial Park (173 miles), home to 3,954m Mt Robson, the highest peak in the BC Rockies. From here on you may spot moose, mountain goats, mule, grizzly and black bears, deer, elk, marmots, chipmunks, caribou, squirrels, muskrats, beavers and up to 170 bird species. Overnight Mount Robson Provincial Park campsite.
    DAYS 12 – 15
    Mt Robson to Jasper (54 miles) with time to visit Maligne Lake, the largest glacier-fed lake in the Rockies. Three full days to explore Jasper and to get out into Jasper National Park – keep your eyes peeled for roaming wildlife! Take a gondola trip up to Whistler’s Mountain for views back to Mt Robson and south to the Columbia Icefield. Be sure to visit Miette Hot Springs and the Athabasca Falls. The lakes, mountains and glaciers of this region are truly awe inspiring. 4 nights Jasper campsite.
    DAY 16
    Time to move on, down the awe inspiring Icefields Parkway to Kootenay Plains (113 miles). Don’t miss the Athabasca Glacier, one of the six main spurs of the Columbia Icefield, the largest icecap south of the Arctic Circle and north of the equator. Overnight Kootenay Plains campsite.

    DAYS 17 – 19
    Explore Yoho National Park. En Route to Banff (113) miles take in Lake Louise too – a stunning lake with a world-famous hotel. Enjoy Banff National Park, where helicopter trips, gondola rides and horse riding are all possible. On the final day further explore Banff National Park, or take the opportunity to stock up on souvenirs from the wide variety of stores in Banff itself. Enjoy a farewell dinner in Banff. 3 nights Banff campsite.
    DAY 20
    Return your motorhome to the depot in Calgary (94 miles) and transfer to Calgary airport for the overnight flight to London.
    DAY 21
    Arrive London. This ends the tour travel arrangements.
